The recent CDC update on masking guidelines was music to our ears. We are on the right course to beating this pandemic once and for all. That’s why here at The Toothboss, we plan on sticking to the Covid protocols we put in place when we re-opened last May.
Part of the reason for this course of action is not everybody has been vaccinated and then had two weeks after their second dose. Those folks who haven’t are still vulnerable and we want everybody to be safe until we can all safely be inside and without masks.
We will continue to ask patients to call when they arrive and mask up when they enter the office. We will still limit the people in the waiting area. We will still ask you to gargle prior to going to the operatory. Yet, as those of you who have been to the office since we re-opened, once you’re in the chair the appointment isn’t much different than before. With the exception of the noise. It’s a little bit louder with the extraoral vacuum that collects omitted aerosols.
As we progress through the summer months and the trend continues in the current positive direction, we will update you on where we are with Covid protocols.
